2021 - What a year it was for the Meath Ladies football team who overcame all the odds to win their first ever Ladies All-Ireland SFC title, staging an incredible comeback against Cork in the semi-final before defeating hot favourites Dublin in the final on an unforgettable September day in Croke Park. It was the culmination of an incredible journey for this side who were Intermediate champions in 2020, before claiming the Lidl National Football League Division 2 title earlier in 2021.
